Nyeri Town Member of Parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu has hinted at what will make him start fighting ODM Party leader Raila Odinga.
Speaking during a televised interview dubbed JKLIVE aired on Citizen TV on Wednesday night, Ngunjiri said he will immediately start fighting Raila the moment President Kenyatta will wake up and tell him that the handshake was not working out.
Ngunjiri who affirmed his support for the handshake argued that When one attacks the handshake, when he/she is from Jubilee, the person he/she is actually attacking is Uhuru.
” If tomorrow the President woke up and told me this (handshake) is not working I will start fighting Raila Immediately; that’s party discipline. When you attack the handshake, when you are from Jubilee, the person you are actually attacking is Uhuru,” he said.
There have been differences within Jubilee Party amounting to a split into two outfits, Tanga Tanga which echoes Deputy President Dr William Ruto and Kieleweke team which supports President Kenyatta.
Tanga Tanga team does not support the handshake, arguing that Raila came to Jubilee Party to destroy it.
