Sadio Mane’s effort was originally given offside, and everyone, including the player, seemed to think he was miles off – barring Mo Salah!
The Egyptian managed to get a look at a screen and noticed that our no.10 was actually in-line from his pass – as Maddock points out.
He was already going crazy when the entire stadium was still waiting for the result of the VAR!
Hahaha. No one in stadium had a scooby what was going on there. Except Mo Salah. He took a sneaky look at the VAR replay on screen by side of pitch and saw Mane wasn’t offside. Celebrated about 45 seconds before everyone else!!! 🤷🏽♂️🤣#PORLIV

Salah has been assisting Mane plenty this season – and delivered a beautiful cross to his partner in crime away at the Allianz in the Last 16 as well.
Remember when there were suggestions that the two were in genuine internal competition for goals and wouldn’t pass to each other?!
