A Kenyan father has won the hearts of thousands of social media users after Qatari television channel Al-Jazeera did a special feature of his selfless mission of using his matatu to drive children with disabilities to school.
Stanley, whose child is also disabled, received praise from across the continent and beyond.
The father who ails from the low-income estate of Kibera has relieved many parents with the burden of carrying their disabled children to and from school on a daily basis. He uses his matatu free of charge to offer them transportation.
“As a parent to one of the disabled children I volunteered to assist them after being approached since their parents at the time faced a lot of challenges in taking them to school. Despite all the challenges I have managed to move on smoothly” he said
