The death of Ivy has stirred a lot of uproar in social media. Different people have given their views on the cruel murder of women in higher institutions of learning, as well as in families. Debate still goes on in a bid to try and unearth the cause of rampant murder cases affecting only gender Female.

Secular artiste Nameless has shared his own thoughts on what he thinks is the main cause of the increased murder cases in our campuses.He talked about such during an interview where he said three important things affecting the lives of the youth.

Most people are brought up knowing educations is the only important thing.

Go to school, get good grades and get a good job.

I feel that young people lack a sense of direction, in that nobody is teaching them how to control their emotions or even get over rejection.

I advise more mentorship programmes to help our young people understand themselves.

This comes even as a Pwani University student is fighting for her life after being stabbed by her boyfriend, the father of her child, and many other similar cases that have happened previously.

Ms.Naomi Chepkemoi, a third-year public health major, was stabbed during an argument with the man at her house in Kilifi town.

Mr Okeri said the man had traveled from Nairobi to demand why she had returned Sh3, 200 he had sent her last week.
