The DCI detectives arrested 4 Congolese and 2 Kenyans in possession of fake gold. The six suspects were arrested on Monday, in Kilimani Nairobi and were arraigned in court on Tuesday.
To allow for complete investigations, The four suspects aged between 24 and 46 will spend more three days in custody.
“On April 15, 2019 Flying Squad Officers acting on information from the members of the public went to Lenana 51 Apartments along Lenana Road within Kilimani area and managed to arrest all the six suspects,” the court was told on Tuesday.
The DCI had announced through Twitter that the suspects had been arrested with over 50 Kilograms of fake gold nuggets.
