KQ to upgrade 6 flights to Mombasa ahead of Easter

Kenya Airways is set to upgrade 6 flights to operate the Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the Nairobi-Mombasa route.

Given the very high demand for travel during the Easter Holiday period, national carrier Kenya Airways has revised its schedule and increased capacity on the Kisumu and Mombasa routes.

The airline will upgrade a total of 6 flights to operate the Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the Nairobi-Mombasa route; 2 flights on Thursday 18th April, 1 flight on Good Friday, 1 flight on Easter Sunday and 2 flights on Easter Monday.

Kenya Airways will also schedule an additional flight to Kisumu on Thursday 18th and Monday 22nd April operating the Q400 aircraft. This will increase the number of flights to the Lakeside City from 4 to 5 on both days. 

“The increased capacity will give our customers greater choice and flexibility in planning their travel during this peak travel period. Our customers to Mombasa will also get a chance to experience the state-of the-art Dreamliner which usually operates on international routes,” said Kenya Airways Group MD and CEO, Sebastian Mikosz.
