It seems that Meghan Markle has made a secret return to social media just over a year after her Instagram account and blog The Tig were closed down.

When Prince Harry and Meghan’s joint account was launched it broke records becoming the quickest to reach one million followers , showing just how keen royal fans were for an insight into the life of the Duke and Duchess Sussex.

Branching out from Kensington Palace and securing their own solo platform with the handle ‘sussexroyal’ has been rumoured to have the hallmarks of Meghan all over it.

And now eagle-eyed fans believe that the 37-year-old mum-to-be is the one actually running the account thanks to several clues dotted around the professional page…

As the amount of posts grow, telltale signatures of Meghan’s have cropped up including her love of photo borders.

In the carefully organised photogrid each post features a neat white border, something Megs was fond of back in the day according to Vogue.

Their latest post, a thank you to their well-wishers for making donations in honour of the royal baby , the lengthy caption contains subtle hints that it is a personal message from the Duchess herself.

This afternoon The Duke of Sussex visited an OnSide Youth Zone in Dagenham, as a continuation of his longstanding work in supporting young people and the belief that sport can change and sometimes even save lives. @OnSideyz creates state of the art ‘Youth Zones’ for disadvantaged communities to provide children and adults aged 8 to 19 (and up to age 25 with a disability) with a safe and inspiring place to be for mentorship, support, and guidance. Having a community centre such as @OnSideyz creates a safe space, a network of support, and a sense of belonging for thousands of young people, to help them deal with issues they’re facing such as knife crime, domestic abuse and teenage pregnancy. Participation in youth zones is proven to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour by half or more. Earlier this year, The Duke was joined by The Duchess of Sussex in opening an OnSide club in Birkenhead. The donation amounts referenced are written in dollars rather than pounds.

The rest of the message refers to nappies as ‘diapers’ and ‘cribs’ instead of cots, which suggests the Californian had a big hand in the caption.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex unveiled a set of new pictures in their first post, including a monogram that combined the couple’s first letter, H and M, with a crown above, on a blue background.

They wrote it caption: “Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues.

“We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal.”

Just two weeks later they have racked up nearly five million followers.

On January 10, 2018, the former Suits actress closed down her own personal page to focus on becoming a royal after it had laid dormant following the first rumblings the pair were dating back in 2016.

Now it appears Meghan has grasped her first opportunity to get posting again by sharing information about their work with different charities and organisations that they are patrons for.

They have so far used it to announce major news, like their partnership with Oprah Winfrey on a new health series for Apple.

It’s even expected that the pair will reveal the first picture of their newborn baby on the platform after choosing to shun the traditional hospital welcome.

It’s unlikely, however, we’ll be seeing any of Meg’s famous selfies or yoga poses.
