The deputy president William Ruto has stolen the spot light at a Kakamega function where he was the guest of honour. The Holy Mass function had been organized by Kakamega Salvation Army Church.
He was accompanied by several politicians including; Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka, former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale.
MPs Didmus Barasa (Kimilili), John Walukhe (Sirisia), Benjamin Washiali (Mumias East) were also present.
He has twisted and turned exciting fellow leaders and church members at the tune of the gospel music which had everyone on their feet and has managed to trend online in a viral video that captured the moment.
Khalwale has since taken the driver’s seat in spreading Ruto’s gospel in the region and has severally openly declared support for the DP’s 2022 presidential bid.
In an interview on Citizen Radio, he vowed to lead the DP’s campaigns in Kakamega County upon the open of the campaign window.
Ironically, he maintained that he remains the Deputy Party Leader of the Ford Kenya party, whose party boss Moses Wetangula had also declared an interest in the top slot.
