Handshake was to declare war, Koigi Wamwere reveals

Former Subukia Member of Parliament has come out giving his opinion concerning the March 9th Handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

According to the veteran MP while speaking in an interview, it is so evident that there is trouble in the ruling party Jubilee following the handshake.He further added saying that the relationship formed by Uhuru and Raila could be the start of most dread political ware.

“The meeting between the two leaders was a way of declaring war, saying that its either Raila leaves or the party dies.He said.

However he said that the jubilee allied group has demonstrated that it harbours a very strong hatred against Raila and is willing to go to any extent to block him.

His remarks come a time when some Jubilee members allied to DP Ruto have been condemning the handshake saying that Raila had no good intentions for the partnership.
