Kuria, Ngunjiri fight got Ruto’s attention, Ichungwa Buried head under the sand

Fundraising attended by deputy president turned into a political rally after Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria engaged into verbal diarrhea with Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri.

The meeting was held at Nakuru’s main Wakulima Market and attended by among others, area lawmaker David Gikaria and area Senator and Senate Majority Whip Susan Kihika.

Others were Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and his Muranga counterpart Irungu Kangata.

What started as a joke escalated after Kuria accused section of the politician allied to the DP of trying to force the community to vote the certain politician.

Kuria warned that people should not be forced to back Deputy President William Ruto, under threats that failure to do that might lead to violence.

“Leaders should not intimidate other communities that there will be violence should they not support Ruto’s 2022 bid. That is not wise,” said Kuria as quoted saying.

However, in his defense, Kimani Ngunjiri was quick to rubbish the comments, saying that no one has been intimidated to vote for the DP.

“I want to dissociate myself from sentiments by Kuria. What he has said in this meeting is his own views and I should not be associated with that,” said the vocal leader.

Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichugwa was all silent and he didn’t speak a word after the two gentlemen took on one another.

Already Moses has declared an interest to run for presidency 2022 though political pundits have termed him as a joker.

Recently Kuria takes it on Kiambu governor Waititu after he was termed as a joker and not serious.

A section of Jubilee politicians allied to Kieleweke group recently questioned the motive of the DP Ruto engaging into early politics.

Nominated MP Kamanda said that Ruto is trying to buy section of politicians from mount Kenya lead by Waititu to drum support for him.

The MP warned Waititu of misleading the community in preparation for 2022.
