A file has been petitioned to give slain Moi University student Ivy Wangechi a Medicine Degree despite her demise.
The Sixth Year Medicine student is argued to have done nearly all that is required to become a doctor.
According to a Swansea University definition: “An Aegrotat Award may be conferred upon a candidate on the presumption that a candidate, who is unable to continue their studies, would have satisfied the standard required for the award had they been able to continue.”
On another hand, one Dr Njoki Ngumi suugested that they dedicate a women’s lab/ward at Moi University teaching hospital to her eternal memory.
