When a police officer killed the girlfriend, you said it was bitterness. Bitterness because he had paid the girl’s fees and she felt too good for him, breaking his heart and warranting her death. Turns out, the father had been paying the fees all along. Bloggers just had a field day with the story because they needed the clicks.

Now someone else has been killed. Gruesomely. A knife and an axe were the weapons of choice. But still you want to insist that she did something wrong. Something so wrong it warranted a man traveling all the way from Thika to Eldoret, having all that time in the car to marinate over what he was going to do and still go ahead and do it.

And you still want to hide behind the curtain of “a story has two sides”. Please, riddle me this, how do we get this side number two if the girl is already dead? Some of you are only interested in using social media to exonerate the actions of a man you did not know and accusing a woman you equally did not know so that a story can fit your own personal narratives.

The only relationship that was ever worth dying for was on the cross but at this point I am sure the chap regrets ever doing it. Might have just let us all burn in hell. We deserve it.
