The Directorate of Criminal Investigations has revealed that detectives have arrested 40-year-old Sally Njeri in Maaimahiu following a Highway robbery where goods on Transit from Mombasa to Kisumu-worth millions of shillings-were stolen while the driver was drugged.
Several cartons of stolen items, Lorry and other chemicals have been recovered.
Detectives investigating the matter are looking for the other suspects who are considered armed & dangerous to face Justice.
Earlier on the DCI officers drawn from the Transnational Organized Crime Unit also reported the rescue of nine Ethiopian male victims of human trafficking.
In a tweet on its official Twitter handle, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said the victims were found in a rented house belonging to a 46-year-old suspect who has been identified as Alexender Kinyanjui.
The police have also established that all the victims are Ethiopian nationals aged between 20 years and 36 years.
