“I’m Alive and Kicking” Kibra MP Ken Okoth Speaks After Death Rumours

Death is an experience that many of us wouldn’t want to ever go through. Loosing a loved one or a friend is something that at times ends up haunting us for the rest of ourlives.

What then happens when you are pronounced dead before you meet your actual death? How do you react? What about your family? How does this affects them?

Well, such are the questions that one should ask him/herself before starting to spread fake news about an individuals death like we have witnessed today with the case of Kibera MP Ken Okoth.

News went round that the vibrant and hardworking member of Parliament had succumbed to cancer only for the MP to later confirm that he is still alive and kicking.

“I’m alive and kicking. Folks should stop killing me before my time with rumours,” Said Okoth in a post on his official twitter account.

Mr. Okoth is currently undergoing treatment for stage four colorectal cancer with metastases to the liver.

Colorectal cancer, as defined by Mayoclinic.com, is when cancer develops from both the colon and rectum.

A 2017 study published by National Centre for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) found that 50 per cent of colorectal cancer patients develop metastasis disease of the liver, which are tumour growths in the liver, spread from cancer causing cells in some part of the body.
