Just who wants to see Kibera MP Ken Okoth Dead? This is the question a number of Kenyans have posed after news went round across social media platforms that the young and vibrant lawmaker from Kenya’s largest slum was dead.
Okoth has been battling cancer and it so looks like some “stupid” fellow want’s him dead before his actual time comes.
Kenyans on twitter took it upon themselves to dish out an online punishment to peddlers of fake news around Ken Okoth’s death.
Hon. Ken Okoth is battling Colorectal Cancer with every fiber in his body and he seems to be approaching it with a lot of optimism. With this in mind, news of his death came as a shocker to many with a number of Kenyans quick to confirm that he is indeed still alive and responding well to treatment.
Okoth revealed his Cancer diagnosis in February indicating that the condition was discovered at a very advanced stage it cannot be cured, just managed.
The 41-year old once took to his Twitter to give an update on his continued fight against cancer.
“Napambana na hali yangu kabisa. (I’m fighting with it). Chemo drugs are brutal on the skin and immunity system.” he tweeted.
Today, Kenyans were quick to dispel rumours of his death, a clear indication that he is loved and cared for by many.
