Ander Herrera: Man Utd and I not thinking the same thing

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has denied claims he’s committed to pre-contract terms with PSG.

Off contract in June, Herrera has been linked with the Parisians.

However, he told ABC: “Will I continue with Manchester United? What I want is to win in Barcelona and think about football. Of course I only have two months of contract and today, Manchester United and I do not think the same thing and there is no agreement for an extension.

“But my duty is to continue to listen to Manchester. What is clear is that I will continue to play for a big team.

“I will listen to Manchester United, but also other clubs. I do not close any door.”

Contractual delibarations

Ander Herrera’s contract is set to end at the end of the season allowing the Spaniard to walk away from united for free.

Although Manchester United are willing to hand him a new contract the club reportedly is not sure what plans Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has in place or how he intends his midfield to look like come next season.

Arsenal and PSG have all shown interest in Herrera who has impressed in the middle of the field since Solskjaer took over the reigns last December.

United have already identified players who could strengthen their midfield including Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes, Toni Kroos and out-of-favor Paris Saint-Germain star Adrien Rabiot.

Herrera recently confessed he would like to remain at Manchester United, indicating he is willing to put pen to paper if offered a new deal.
