As chaos continue to ravel in the Orange Democratic Movement party unison following the recent wars they have been engaged in, the opposition leader Raila Odinga has assured that the party is strong and undivided.
He has also spoke on the perceived between him and senator James Orengo clearing the air over the relationship between the two.
Speaking during a press briefing with journalists after meeting with leaders from Rift Valley at his Capitol Hill office in Nairobi, Raila stated that Orengo remained a very important player in ODM.
“Orengo is a very loyal member of ODM. There’s nothing, only positive issues about Hon. James Orengo,” the ODM leader addressed.
This comes in the backdrop of reports that Odinga was not happy with Orengo over his utterances about an alleged 2022 pre-election agreement between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Opposition leader.
Earlier reports had indicated that Orengo was angered by his party leader’s decision to leave him out of the Handshake talks with President Kenyatta despite being viewed by many as his closest ally and legal advisor
