Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital Board will be chaired by Prof. Olive Mugenda who has been appointed by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The facility will be one of the centers of excellence for cancer management in the country said CS Sicily Kariuki.
This will be the only one of its kind in the region, with an aim of not only providing quality learning and research environment but to also play a role in meeting the millennium development goals of providing adequate and quality health care to the society.

The Government has invested Kshs. 8 billion plus to equip
