
Four people were killed and six others injured after a 14-seater matatu they were

The passengers were heading to Narok town from Bomet when the crash happened Sunday morning.

Confirming the incident, Narok County Police Commander Yunis Adan said the four died on the spot after the landcruiser, which was headed towards Tanzania from Narok, rammed into the matatu – from Super Premium Sacco – which was heading to Nairobi to Ololulunga.

Witnesses who spoke to reporters said the matatu was tossed at least 200 meters off the road after the collision.
Those injured – including the matatu driver – were taken to the Narok County Referral Hospital while bodies of the deceased were transferred to the same hospital’s mortuary.


Several others were injured and taken to local hospitals in Kitui County.
