Raila Odinga Pulls Thunderous Reception at Embakasi South- Photos

ODM leader and his brigade brought Embakasi South to a standstill after they received a thunderous reception on Tuesday in Embakasi South where he went to campaign for ODM’s candidate Irshad Sumra.

ODM which is keen to clinch the seat after it was nullified by the Supreme Court in February. Irshad Sumra, who seems to be the front runner is facing a stiff challenge from Wiper’s Samuel Mawathe.Raila Odinga came out to offer support to ODM’s candidate and urged Embakasi South residents to vote for Irshad Sumra.

Odinga was accompanied by ODM SG Edwin Sifuna,Nairobi Women Representative Esther  Passaris among other leaders.

The seat fell vacant after Julius Mawathe’s 2017 election was nullified.Mawathe ran on the Wiper party ticket but his win was challenged by ODM’s Irshad Sumra.
