Raheem Sterling attacks Leonardo Bonucci for his ’50-50′ Moise Kean, racism comment

The appalling topic of racism reared it’s ugly head in Serie A on Tuesday.

Juventus striker Moise Kean and midfielder Blaise Matuidi were targeted with monkey noises during a match at Cagliari.

The monkey chants could be easily heard on TV during the match.

Juve won the contest 2-0, with goals from Leonardo Bonucci and Moise Kean in each half.

After Kean scored, the 19-year-old celebrated in front of the Cagliari supporters.

The teenager just stood there, arms out wide, as he tried to silence his racist haters.

Leonardo Bonucci’s 50-50 comment
Yet Kean can under fire from Leonardo Bonucci after the game.

In a stunning and disappointing turn of events, the Juve captain accused Kean of provocing the racists into action. He said:

Kean knows that when he scores a goal, he has to focus on celebrating with his teammates. He knows he could’ve done something differently too.

There were racist jeers after the goal, Blaise heard it and was angered. I think the blame is 50-50, because Moise shouldn’t have done that and the Curva should not have reacted that way.

We are professionals, we have to set the example and not provoke anyone.

Bonucci’s comments have spread online on Wednesday.

As a result, Man City’s Raheem Sterling has hit back at the Italian defender for his comments.

Sterling, posting on Instagram Stories, wrote: “The blame is 50-50… All you can do now is laugh.”

Of course, Sterling has faced racism on a couple of occasions this season.

Firstly the Man City star was abused at Chelsea, and then again in Montenegro during the international break.
