From fake doctors to fake pastors, conmen and women are on the rise as people get more desparate by day.
As we talk, two conmen a pastor and an associate of the Global ministries based in Kaptembwa Nakuru, have conned over 270 people who have allegedly left their jobs so as to get into a ‘well paying’ research job said to be financed by World Health Organization(WHO).
According to a local blogger, some victims have paid up to Sh5,000 with others paying as much as Sh10,000 as ‘training fees’ in order to get the job.
The man who doubles as a medical research director and the pastor of a local church in Nakuru works reportedly works with Dr. John Kute to defraud people.
These two conmen have gone to an extent of setting up a fake website, Galanet Research and Consultancy, in order to lure people.
The story emerged came to the limelight after an anonymous person contacted the blogger asking him to expose the two frauds and help the victims get justice.
According to the anonymous person, Dr. Kute boasts that he is known by the authorities in Nakuru county and nothing can be done to him.
Kute has allegedly refused to pay his workers their 3 months salary and refund the money he has defrauded the people.
He is now said to have penetrated Nairobi where he has already defrauded 50 people, more could be on the way to unknowingly have a taste of his dose.
The DCI has now launched a fight with an aim to settle the controversial the Gakuyo properties fraud.
While taking to his twitter account the DCI posted a tweet with the letter to the general public.

The office of the director of criminal investigations have expressed their concern of the public defrauded land and has jump in to rescue in settling the matter.
The letter notifies the public on fraud complains received from the public concerning the; Gakuyo Real Estate, Ekeza Sacco limited and the Gakuyo investment club in the recent past actions.
