Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen has once again found himself on the receiving end after his reckless remarks on missing high-end cars rubbed some the wrong way.
Murkomen caused a storm after he took to Twitter, faulting the DCI for using the social media platform to track owners of the high end cars that are the subject of ongoing investigations.
“If the DCI has to rely on twitter to establish the ownership of vehicles in Kenya then how will he be able to investigate complex matters of syndicated loans ? SMH” Murkome wrote.
Reports indicate that the DCI impounded tens of high end cars allegedly bought with the proceeds of the dams scandal and which has so far seen politicians allied to DP Rto, led by Murkomen protest, alleging that the war against corruption has been politicized and calling for the immediate sacking of DCI Kinoti.
