Is Iggy Azalea jacking Cardi B’s sound?

The 28-year-old Australian rapper released her latest single Sally Walker earlier this month. The tune stormed into the US iTunes chart at No. 4, only to fall down

And on Thursday, Iggy Azalea took to Twitter, urging her fans to ‘harass’ radio stations and stream the track on Spotify.

‘So… what radio stations are we going to harass today?’ Iggy asked her Twitter fans on Thursday. 

Hours later, the blonde took to Twitter again, this time urging her fans to stream Sally Walker on Spotify.

‘We need to stream Sally Walker on this particular playlist so it can be added to more of them,’ she wrote, alongside a screen grab of of a certain playlist. 

Iggy’s latest single Sally Walker, stormed the US iTunes chart in mid-March, going straight in at No. 4, but did not long hold the position.

The last time the songstress cracked the top five was back in 2014 with Black Widow.  

Last week fans online accused Iggy of copying Cardi B’s distinctive musical sound.

Listeners took to Twitter to claim they heard similarities between Cardi’s single Money and Iggy’s Sally Walker. 

One particular fan Tweeted: ‘Iggy Azalea really went in studio and said to producers, ‘You heard that Cardi record Money yea make me one too [sic].’

However J. White, who produced both rappers’ songs, denied Iggy was influenced by Cardi. 

The famed producer, who goes by the moniker J. White Did It, Tweeted in response to the critic: ‘Actually that’s false.’
