What Prof Magoha has done to lazy university students 2 days after swearing in

The ministry of education under the management of no nonsense Prof George Magoha is rolling out an anti-plagiarism programme that will ensure lazy university students who thrive in cheating have no peace in institutions of higher learning.

Universities are adopting a new way of taming cheating a move that will potentially render ‘copy pasters’ irrelevant.

Education ministry is trying to contain this problem through the Plagscan plagiarism checker acquired from a German technology firm.

Plagscan developed a method to search for documents that are thematically related.

The advancement in technology and the use of Internet has undoubtedly made learning easier. This advancement, however, has also led to increased cases of cheating.

Plagiarism is academic corruption rampant in our learning institutions.

Academic plagiarism is generally classified into three common categories. Sham plagiarism is where the students copy material verbatim from text and acknowledge the source but represent their work as paraphrased.

The second category is verbatim plagiarism that is act of copying literal material without any indication of its source.
