The Anti-Narcotics detectives based at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport working jointly with other stakeholders today afternoon seized narcotic drugs (Heroin)which had arrived on Transit.
The heroin was concealed between the hard side covers of the books and was sent from Kigali
This comes a month after heroin worth Ksh1.5 Million was confiscated by detectives at the same airport.
The consignment, which tested positive for heroin was from Juba, South Sudan and was destined for the Republic of Guinea.
In another incident, a man was arrested with heroin worth Ksh15 Million that had been concealed in pawpaw fruits.
