Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s rescue mission in Turkana has been praised by many Kenyans especially after the governments denial of crisis and deaths in the drought stricken regions.
However its not all praise as concerns have been raised over the security he has employed to guard him while on ground distributing donations to the villagers.
Many have complained on the issue with some stating that the bodyguards guns are being displayed stupidly making them look like EL chapo the famous international crime syndicate.
Others however came to the defence of the governor saying
Turkana is generally banditry prone area.
At one point musician Akothee who also distributed food to the hunger stricken men and women was compared to Sonko by illustration of her not wearing bullet proof vest,almost having zero guards and zero escort.
She blended in both their tradition and traditional regalia winning their hearts and many Kenyans as well.
