Professor Magoha takes oath to start his new role as CS Education

Forme Nairobi University VC Professor George Albert Omore Magoha was on Tuesday sworn in as the new Education Cabinet Secretary.

The former Kenya National Examinations Council Chairman Magoha took his oath of office in the swearing in ceremony at State House, Nairobi.

President Uhuru Kenyatta, Interior CS Fred Matiang’i and Head of Delivery Nzioka Waita were present.

The president Kenyatta said he looks forward to working with him and other stakeholders in implementing the new curriculum and ensuring the country achieves 100% transition from primary to secondary schools.

The ceremony was conducted by the Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua.

The president the swearing in of Magoha and the new Commissioner General of the Kenya Prisons Service Mr. Wycliffe Ogalo.
