President Uhuru’s niece Nana Gecaga sense of fashion angers MPs

My dress my choice debate is still alive as some of the dressing modes of women especially in Nairobi is wanting all in the name of fashion.

Kenya International Conference Centre (KICC) CEO who is also Uhuru Kenyatta niece Nana Gecaga attracted the wrath of MPs over the manner in which she received members of the National Assembly’s Committee on Sports, Tourism and Culture.

The committee had informed Gecaga of their plan to visit the state-owned facility – two weeks ahead of the inspection. 

However, the committee’s Chair, Machakos Town MP Victor Munyaka, cancelled the meeting claiming that Gecaga appeared unprepared and had kept the MPs waiting. 

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s niece Nana Gecaga has impressed Kenyans after she made a bold move to support Kenyan local upcoming artists.

“Ms Gecaga appeared ill-prepared for the visit despite having been notified by the Clerk of the National Assembly two weeks prior to the visit.”

“The members struggled to find their way into the building and to the CEO’s boardroom only to find her missing. They waited for about 30 minutes before she surfaced casually dressed in jeans trousers and a T-shirt on a weekday and seemed unbothered by the MPs’ presence,” Mwingi West Charles Nguna, a member of the committee complained.
