The couple of teenagers, who both hail from Kakaro village in Suna East sub-county were arrested on Sunday evening after the mother of the girl reported the matter to the police demanding for the arrest of the boy.
Police in Migori are holding the two teenagers, a 13-year-old boy and his 15-year-old pregnant girlfriend.
Suna East sub-county Police Commander Mark Wanjala confirmed the arrest saying they two are detained at the Migori police station and will arraigned in court.
He said the police are now compiling the charges for the two minor adding that they must be subjected to necessary legal process.
Wanjala at the same time appealed to parents to offer guidance to their children to help handle the rising cases of teenage pregnancies in the county.
