Celebrated Tanzanian rapper Ambwene Allen Yessayah alias AY and his wife Remy were blessed with their first child together last year.
Earlier AY was dating Kenyan MusicianAmani and said that their relationship came to an end in after the two had a mutual agreement. According to AY, their relationship was too costly due to travelling from one country to another just to see each other and none of them was willing to relocate to other’s native country.
The baby, who was born on August 12 in Dallas, Texas, has been named Aviel Yessayah.
The musician took to his official Instagram page last year to share with his 1.4 million followers the good news.
“God is good. I thank Him for blessing me and my beautiful wife, Remy, with a baby boy, whom we have named Aviel Yessayah. He was born while 3.9kilograms and 27 inches tall. The name Aviel means God is my father. Aviel was born on August 12, 2018 at the Medical City Healthcare in Dallas, Texas. Welcome to the world, Aviel,” said AY on Instagram.
AY’s son became an American citizen right away after birth. Babies born in US soil to foreign parents who are non-citizens or unauthorized immigrants have the right to citizenship thanks to Citizenship Clause of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. (Trump wants to scrape off this ‘birth tourism’).
AY is a Tanzanian national, his wife is Rwandan and their son is an American citizen. Now that’s diversity.
