Celebrated Kenyan gospel hip hop star Eko Dydda has rubbished claims that he has kicked his wife and two sons to the curb after a domestic quarrel.

Speaking to local publication, Dydda expressed shock and dismissed reports doing rounds on social media as falsehoods.

Dydda reiterated that he is happy with his wife, Cynthia Ayugi, and disclosed that, in fact, his sons- Amblessed and Keepitreal – will be heading to Qatar to represent Kenya in the Under-9 Championships.

“There is nothing like that. Personally, I am hearing for the first time just as you are. You know me and the values I hold on family.

“My sons and wife are very dear to me. Those stories are negative energies that I have no time for and hold no substance. Did Jesus ever kick anyone out?  I live a life of positivity.

“My sons and wife are not homeless, they are happily living with me. Keepitreal even won a medal a few days ago playing football and he is heading to Qatar with his six-year-old brother to represent Kenya in the Under 9 category,” said Dydda.

He disclosed that he is working on music projects with his multi-talented sons, far from claims he has moved in with a ‘mpangowakando‘ at the expense of his family.

A year ago, the rapper took to social media to praise his wife of over nine years, saying, “I hear most people say that true love doesn’t exist, and happily ever after is only in the movies. That is only true if he came for the beauty and she came for the money, fame, and power.

“But if he or she is a gift from God, then you will experience happily ever after and true love. Abraham and Sarah did, Isaac and Rebecca did, and all these were not material-oriented relationships. Ok, hao ni wa kitambo. I met her in this generation before the fame and the money.”
