Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has pointed out three players who he finds a burden to United family and proposes they be sold during this transfer season.

The Norwegian is still technically just a caretaker manager but it’s widely expected he will land the job permanently soon enough.

Solskjaer has seen a huge overturn in United’s fortunes since Jose Mourinho was sacked in December.

Fans have been vocal in their support of the club legend and couldn’t have envisioned his tenure would turn out so well.

Only time will tell if a permanent appointment is wise but so far there’s been no real reason to doubt him.

According to a publication, it is reported that Ole wants Antonio Valencia, Marcos Rojo and Alexis Sanchez sold as he deems them to be surplus to the current squad.

It’s not a surprise to see the Ecuadorian on that list given how his father confirmed his departure shortly after the Red Devils opted against extending his contract.

Rojo is simply out of favour in a position that’s well stocked with alternatives in Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly and Phil Jones.

Sanchez is the main surprise given his stature but it’s safe to say his performances have warranted a move away so far.
