Akothee reveals why she could not sit pretty and watch Turkana people die of hunger

Kenya’s finest artist and business woman Akothee has on Friday revealed why she has unwavering love for Turkana and its people.

Akothee is currently on a mission to supply food relief to the disadvantaged Turkana community after drought hit various parts of the country.

She posted on her social media that she has a personal attachment with Turkana since she was raised and schooled in the area.

“I was raised here , I went to school here, my dad was an administrator we lived in Kakuma and schooled in Turkwel girls , I have a personal relationship with Trukana, I have just come home to my people, with gifts from my fans, my dad adopted a girl child from here,” stated the post.
