‘You can now leave Kenyans alone!’ Ezekiel Mutua lands a Lucrative International Job

Self Proclaimed Moral Commando Ezekiel Mutua was on Wednesday elected as the Vice Chairman of the African Film Content Standard Setting Steering Committee.

The outspoken Kenya Film Classification Board CEO, will now be in charge of harmonisation of Content Regulation in Africa.

Apparently, Mutua has been in Johannesburg, South Africa for a three
day meeting which brought together leaders of Film Regulatory Agencies from across the continent to spearhead the development of a blueprint for a harmonised legal and policy framework for content regulation.

We are not sure yet if he will leave his role at KFCB where he has been bullying everyone along the way. None the less, Kenyans have congratulated him.

Congratulations on your new role in the continent of Africa. Yours is a great challenge ahead together with your team. Africa is diverse in culture, both traditional & externally inherited. In terms of development, we are at different stages. A listening ear will be your guide.— Manyara KINOTI (@Manyarakinoti) March 21, 2019

You are a Mentor to Many— JOEL kioko (@joelizoh) March 20, 2019

Mutua has brushed shoulders with players in the entertainment industry. The most controversial decision he made was banning the Kenyan Gay Film Rafiki.

The film has since received international stardom.

In 2017, Mutua made himself an international joke after he suggested that two gay lions which were caught having sex at the Masai Mara Game Reserve had copied the idea from tourists who had gone there.

Recently, Mutua clashed with Akothee over her dressing code.
