Pogba-Bale Swap? How United Could Agree to the Deal

Manchester United could let Paul Pogba join Real Madrid if they get Gareth Bale in return, according to reports.

The French star left his future at Old Trafford in doubt when he admitted playing for the Spanish giants would be a “dream”.

According to AS, Madrid could include the Welshman in the deal to convince United to sell their £89 million midfielder.

United have been long-term admirers of Bale, 29, and they came incredibly close to signing him before he joined the La Liga side in 2013.

But he has continued to disappoint at the Bernabeu this season and the club are willing to offload him this summer.

As a result, they look set to him offer to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side as part of a deal including Pogba.

The World Cup winner looked set to leave United when Jose Mourinho was in charge, but he has been a huge hit under the interim boss.

Pogba, who has scored nine goals in 17 games under Solskjaer, wants the club to offer the 46-year-old the job permanently.

But following the arrival of Zinedine Zidane at Madrid, the 26-year-old said: “Like I’ve always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone.
