President Uhuru Kenyatta has on Wednesday evening flew to Windhoek, Namibia to join President Dr Hage Geingob as the southern country celebrates its 29th Independence Day on 21 March.

President Uhuru leaves behind Deputy President Dr. William Ruto to be in charge of the current drought wreaking havoc on Kenyans.

President Uhuru who is the chief guest at the ceremony held at Independence Stadium in Windhoek was flanked by other government officials and his daughter Ngina Kenyatta.
