Diplomatic relations between Kenya and Zambia received a denting blow after Zambian Ambassador to Kenya Brenda Muntemba Sichilember passed on at the Intensive Care Unit at Nairobi Hospital.
Brenda was involved in a grisly road accident on Tuesday, February 16, on her way back from Machakos to Nairobi when an oncoming lorry rammed into the car she was traveling in.
Medical reports showed the 49-year-old suffered serious injuries and was briefly operated on to stem internal bleeding in Machakos Level Five Hospital.

Together with her Botswana counterpart Duke Lephoko who was traveling with her, they were referred to the Nairobi Hospital where she took her last breath on the morning of Wednesday, March 20.
Condolences came pouring in from some of Nairobi’s senior leaders including Nairobi Women’s Representative, Esther Passaris.
