First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, yesterday held talks with president of the Ford Foundation Darren Walker on the margins of the ongoing session of the Commission on the Status of Women in New York, USA.
During the talks, the First Lady expressed her gratitude to the Ford foundation for its continued support, which has greatly contributed to the success of Beyond Zero Kenya initiative.
The First Lady noted that she looks forward to an entrenched partnership to enable the Beyond Zero initiative fulfill its desired goals; providing quality health services to vulnerable groups in Kenya Darren Walker
The First Lady was later conducted on a tour of the Ford foundation Gallery where she was shown various artworks, which are used by the organisation to encourage social justice around the world.
