In terms of democracy and peace,Kenya can testify that its been a long journey and many would not wish to go back to some situations especially where instability rocked the nation.
This is why Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula has grown weary of the intensified war between the Deputy president William Ruto’s camp and AU envoy Raila’s team.
Moses Wetang’ula warned the acrimony between the two could affect national cohesion and asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to intervene before the situation gets out of hand.
Speaking at a burial in Machakha, Sirisia, Wetang’ula said the Ruto-Raila rivalry was jeopardising Uhuru’s efforts to unite the country.
“Why are the two ripping each other apart despite the Building Bridges Initiative’s efforts to unite the country?” Wetang’ula asked.
The Ford Kenya leader asked Uhuru to rein in the two, even as he remains firm on the anti-corruption war.
While the tanga tanga team is more than convinced Raila is using the handshake to bring William down the other team insists they are only fighting corruption.
