Daughter confirms framing father who now is spending a lifetime sentence in Kamiti maximum prison.

Julius Wambua founded himself in prison in 2011 after he was framed by family members.

In 2007, Wambua divorced his wife and married yet another woman and he lived with his two children from the first wife.

The inmate shared his story with Citizen TV’s Lulu Hassan on prison diaries.

“Nilishtukia tu nikiwa kwa soko nikinunua mboga, polisi wakanikujia wakasema OCS ananitaka (I was shocked to be caught in the market and summoned by the OCS,” Julius explained.

He, however, expressed disbelief that the judge denied him DNA test saying the its time had ended despite him having the money which the judge said it was Ksh 60,000.

Julius reunites with daughter ten years later and confesses that she was told to ‘act’ as if she was defiled by the father.

After she has grown, she didn’t know that her father was alive as she was told he was taken to Shimo la Tewa where according to what she was told, ‘when one gets in, they never come out alive’.

The father and daughter reconcile and Julius forgive her for she was young by then and could not comprehend what was happening.
