PSG superstar punished following night club antics

Paris Saint-Germain have suspended Adrien Rabiot following his antics after Manchester United knocked the Paris giants out of the Champions League.

In what was the most stunning game of that week, Manchester United somehow turned around a 2-0 deficit against PSG to progress through to the Champions League quarter-finals.

PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe was adjudged to have handled the ball in the area.

VAR informed the referee of a potential penalty and after a review on the pitchside screens, the referee decided they were right.

Marcus Rashford dispatched of the spot kick, controversially sending PSG out of the competition.

However, it was a very different reaction from Adrien Rabiot.

Adrien Rabiot & Neymar’s very different reactions

While Neymar and many of his teammates looked sad and down, Rabiot looked quite the opposite.

In fact, he looked pretty content with life.

Rabiot also liked Patrice Evra’s celebratory video after Man United’s progression which would have done little to calm his situation at the club.

The Frenchman is set to leave the club for free this summer after a fallout but that doesn’t mean he’s immune from punishment.

Quite the opposite in fact.

That is because PSG have now suspended the player for his actions after their Champions League exit.

According to L’Equipe, Rabiot will be suspended until March 27 and the main reasons for his suspension were the nightclub visit and liking Evra’s Instagram post.

Safe to say, there’s no future at Paris Saint-Germain for Rabiot.
