Barely hours after France President Emmanuel Macron left Kenya, President Uhuru Kenyatta hosted Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina.
Macron left Kenya on Thursday while Rajoelina landed on Friday.
This is amid president Kenyatta’s efforts to mend diplomatic relations towards his development agenda.
While he on Macron’s visit declared speedy operations towards a train that will be running from JKIA to Nairobi’s City centre, President Rajoelina’s visit will on the other hand bring forth trade ties.
President Kenyatta on Twitter said that he spoke with the Madagascar President, “of the need to enhance trade and commerce between Kenya and Madagascar and how to leverage Africa’s strength to foster for environmental conservation globally.”
