(Photos) President Uhuru launches Peugeot 3008 in style-drives France president

President Uhuru welcomed French president, His Excellency President Emanuel Macron to State House, Nairobi where the two leaders talked about trade between the two nations to stimulate growth in different sectors.

President Uhuru expressed confidence in the visit of the France president saying it is a commitment signal in fostering bilateral relations and engagements between the two nations.

Via twitter the president said:”As we continue the journey of building a better Kenya with shared prosperity for all, we have prioritized manufacturing as one of the critical sectors for wealth and employment creation under the Big 4 Agenda”

While hosting the french president, Macron of France unveiled the Peugeot 3008 at State House, Nairobi.

Uhuru expressed confidence with the progress PSA Groupe has made in delivering locally assembled vehicles in the country and drove the France president in the Peugeot.

Uhuru further restated that as part of the Government‘s policy to promote the philosophy of “Buy Kenya, Build Kenya” among our people, all government entities will be expected to buy and use locally assembled vehicles and spare parts for all official use.

The Peugeot 3008 is assembled locally.

The Peugeot 3008 is good to drive, economical and has a great interior, making it a strong candidate for family buyers” … Not only does this mean it’s more in tune with current trends, but Peugeot has also pulled out all the stops to make the 3008 one of the best cars in a very competitive class.
