Sauti Sol have accomplished great success thus far but as Bien always says, it did not just happen, they have put in a lot of work hard. They are the geatest musical griup in Kenya and have remained united since they began their musical career.
They have won many awards some of them being, the MTV Europe Music Award for Best African Act and the BET Awards 2015, for best African pop group. They might be getting another international award after being nominated for 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
Taking to social media in their Instagram account, they shared the great news and wrote; “We’re pleased to announce that we’ve been nominated for the NICKELODEON KIDS CHOICE AWARDS 2019 as the FAVOURITE AFRICAN STARS.”
Other notable African nominees include Davido, who was nominated in the Favourite Global Music Star category to compete against BLACKPINK (Asia), Troye Sivan (Australia/New Zealand), David Guetta (Europe), Taylor Swift (North America), J Balvin (Latin America) and HRVY (UK).
