As countries ground Boeing 737-8 jets, KQ owns none of this ill-fated model

A wave of countries and blocs have banned Boeing 737-8 jets from their airspace following the Ethiopian Airlines plane crash on Sunday killing all 157 people on board, in the second fatal accident involving the model in five months.

Business mogul and a former Nairobi governor candidate Mr Jimnah Mbaru on Tuesday queried the number of Boeing 737-8 aircrafts owned by Kenya Airways.

In a quick rejoinder, the embattled KQ confirmed that actually they have none.

Do you think Kenya should buy this Boeing model?
