Accept Uhuru has dumped you and move on - Gideon Moi’s ally tells Kalenjin Jubilee leaders

Tiaty MP William Kamket has challenged his Kalenjin brothers and sisters who have been busy attacking President Uhuru Kenyatta for allegedly ignoring his deputy, William Ruto, to pack and leave the ruling Jubilee party. Kamket who is a member of the independence party KANU led by Baringo senator Gideon Moi, son of retired president Daniel arap Moi, told the disgruntled Jubilee politicians to stop beating about the bush and just walk out.

The outspoken MP told the Rift Valley politicians to stop ranting and speaking too much English during funerals and go straight to the point just like Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen did. “To my Kalenjin brothers and sisters, why are you beating about the bush? Please follow what our brother OKM (Onesmus Kipchumba Murkomen) said. Speaking too much English will not help you,” Kamket tweeted.

The Tiaty lawmaker was reacting to the increasing and sustained attack from a section of Jubilee leaders allied to the DP and who have not been happy with the ongoing war against corruption claiming it was being used to fight Ruto. The aggrieved Kalenjin politicians had also accused the president of hiding behind the March 9, 2018 handshake with Opposition leader Raila Odinga to frustrate Ruto’s 2022 presidential ambition and threatened to walk out of the party if the president would not change the way he treats his DP going forward.
