‘Ken Okoth Deserves no sympathy’ Here is why Brutal Kenyans have turned on the sickly Kibra MP

Kibra MP Ken Okoth brought the country to a standstill on Tuesday morning after sharing a picture of himself receiving cancer treatment.

Napambana na hali yangu kabisa. (I’m fighting with it). Chemo drugs are brutal on the skin and immunity system.” the politician tweeted.

Many Kenyans sympathized with the MP who is battling with stage 4 Colorectal Cancer.

Okoth revealed last month that the condition was discovered while at an advanced stage.

But while most Kenyans are wishing him quick recovery, there is a section which thinks the MP deserves no sympathy since he can afford better treatment in Europe while common mwananchi is affected locally:

Ken Okoth is among the 65 MPs seeking cancer treatment abroad.

He’s among those who have prioritized himself over other Kenyans suffering from cancer.

We don’t need a WEED bill from him.

We NEED a Cancer Treatment Bill for all Kenyans.

WE NEED IT NOW.— Michael The Digital Nomad 🙄😒 (@MichaelMburu_) March 12, 2019

I sympathize with Ken Okoth but what about the poor Kenyans who can’t afford the treatment?
It’s time cancer treatment is made free in Kenya and treatment centres set up in every county.
If there’s money to be stolen then there’s money for this! PERIOD!#CancerAwareness https://t.co/YXXpdr9v07— INCREDIBLY TERRIBLE (@allen_arnold) March 12, 2019
