Enough is enough! R. Kelly cannot stomach anymore of the accusations. He is now planning a major counter-attack to the accusers.
singer R Kelly allegedly threatened to expose an abuse accuser’s sex life in a legal letter sent as part of a lawsuit against him.
The 52-year-old star is fighting a civil suit from Faith Rodgers, who alleges Kelly forced her to have sex and gave her herpes.
The singer denied the claims and threatened to filed a counter suit against her.
In a letter sent to her attorney Gloria Allred, Kelly accused Rodgers of trying to destroy his legacy for “selfish, personal enrichment”.
He also allegedly threatened to expose her sex life by suggesting “10 men that will testify” in his defence.
The letter, which has been published online, states: “Please advise Ms. Rodgers… to abandon this heartless effort to try to destroy my musical legacy for selfish, personal enrichment.
“If she persists in court action she will be subjected to public opinion during the discovery process.”
He went to claim his lawyers will ask her to take a medical test in an effort to disprove her STD allegations.
The letter added: “For example, my law team is prepared to request the production of the medical test results proving the origin of her STD claim…
“As well as 10 personal male witnesses testifying under oath about her sex life in support of her claim and complete records of her text/face time message exchanges…
“Which will be reviewed to match and be authenticated by the recipient to insure there are no omissions or deletions.
“If Ms. Rodgers really cares about her own reputation she should cease her participation and association with the organizers of this negative campaign.
“Counter actions are in the developmental stages and due to be released soon.”
The letter is signed with the singer’s full name, Robert Sylvester Kelly.
Rodgers went public with her claims against Kelly back in January, holding a press conference with famed attorney Gloria Aldred by her side.
She claimed to have been 19 at the time of her alleged involvement with Kelly after meeting him backstage at a show in 2017.
In her lawsuit, she said he flew her to New York for another gig, and then allegedly came to her room and “initiated unwanted sexual contact” with her.
The complaint also contains allegations that Kelly infected her with herpes.
Rodgers claimed she dated Kelly for a year after the incident in the hotel and alleges she suffered “mental, verbal and sexual abuse” at his hands.
Kelly has denied any wrongdoing.
