Nigeria’s star WizKid has mentioned severally in a couple of his hit songs that he came from a not so wealthy family and is proud of his growth. And so is his mother.
In a previous interview, Mrs. Jane Dolapo mentioned that all credits to WizKid’s career can only be attributed to God.
In his song Ojuelegba, he says he hustled to work up from his mother’s couch in the ghetto and now to many mansions.
“I’m so glad that he is my son, and that I’m his mother. I give God all the glory. God has kept him for us and He will continue to.”
WizKid has kept his mother away from the limelight despite all his fame. A lot of his personal life is out there, from his children to his baby mama drama but when it comes to his mother, there is little to nothing about her.
We got a rare picture of his mother where the two seem to be having happy moments together. Wizkid has mentioned in previous interviews that he is very close to his mother.
